Christian Education

Adult Sunday School Classes

  • The Carpenters Class is studying “1 & 2 Peter and Jude,” by Galen Hackman. 
  • The Discoverers Class is studying “The Problem of Evil.”
  • The Elective Class is studying Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred Practices in Everyday Life by Tish Harrison Warren.
  • The Seekers Class is studying the international Sunday School lesson God’s World and God’s People.  

Youth Classes

  • Middle School Youth (grades 6th-8th) are studying our New Testament biblical ancestors.
  • Senior High Youth (grades 9th-12th) are studying Live a year with Jesus where they are studying the life of Jesus, discovering in depth who he is, what he did during his earthy ministry, the truths he taught, and how they can share his message.

Children Classes

  • Pre-K to 5th Grade – Studying various biblical stories and topics.


Combined Services

Several times a year, we come together for one combined service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Christian Education programs for all ages at 9:45 a.m. We combine for special celebrations or because of certain liturgical seasons.

  • January 14 – Pastor Dennis Retirement Celebration (Sanctuary)
  • February 11 – Bread and Cup Communion (Sanctuary)
  • February 25 – Installation of Pastor Adam Ulm (Sanctuary)
  • April 29 – Senior High Youth Sunday (Sanctuary)
  • June 3 – Children’s Day (Chapel)
  • July 8 – Annual Conference Sunday (Sanctuary)
  • August 26 – Vacation Bible School/Youth Work Camp Wrap-Up and Promotion Sunday (Chapel)
  • October 21 – Baptism/New Member Sunday, Hershey Half-Marathon (Sanctuary – no Christian Education Programs)
  • November 4 – Middle School Youth Sunday (Chapel)

Other combined services may be added as the need arises.
