Music

Musical groups at Spring Creek provide leadership in our worship and fellowship experiences together. As interest and talent allows groups may be added at any time, but here are some that are functioning right now.

Children’s Bells

(K through Grade 5)

A relatively new group, Children’s Bells practices at the end of Children’s Sunday School and share their music in worship on special occasions such as Christmas, Mother’s Day and Grandparent’s Day.

Children’s Choir

(Pre K through Grade 5)

The Children’s Choir practices during the Wednesday Nights Alive program. They add their joyful voices to worship about one Sunday a month.

Men’s Quartet

These four men have been singing together for a number of years (we won’t say exactly how many!). Their beautiful harmony contributes to our worship as they are available. They also have sung in the community and at local long term care facilities.

Praise Band

The Praise Band leads our contemporary worship service. If you play a guitar, bass, drums, keyboard or you like to sing contemporary Christian music, we might have a place for you with this group. The band practices on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30.

Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir sings traditional 4-part anthems from the classical and various Christian musical traditions. The choir is open to all who have a love for singing and rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:30. The choir contributes to our traditional worship service from September through early June as well as at special services such as Christmas Eve and Good Friday.
