VISITATION MINISTRY

Visitation Ministry is offering training for its members and other interested persons in basic visitation skills.  The 5 week course will be taught by a member of the Pastoral Care Staff of the Hershey Medical Center as part of their LINCSS (Linking Individuals with Non-Medical Congregational Support Services) Program.  The course will meet Mondays beginning on November 25 from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon at the church.  Members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will participate in the training.  Topics to be covered include:  active listening, grief and loss, loneliness, empathy and anxiety.  You do not need to be a member of the Visitation Ministry to attend.
