What to Expect

We know what it’s like to go to a new church for the first time, so we thought you might want to know a little about what to expect when you get to Spring Creek.

We are a multi-generational congregation with active ministries for infants through older adults. Our church building is located on approximately 7 acres in a residential area of Hershey near the public schools, public parks, the Milton Hershey School and within smelling distance of the sweet aroma of Hershey’s chocolate.

When you arrive you will find ample parking in our lot right in front of the church. If there’s inclement weather or you need assistance, there is a covered drive-through entrance on the east side of the church building. One of our greeters will be there to assist you.

As you approach the church building from the parking lot, the sidewalks point you to the main entrance - the covered entrance with Spring Creek Church of the Brethren spelled out right above it. As you enter, you will be greeted and, if you are a first-time guest, you will be directed to the Welcome Center where the attendant will provide you with some information about Spring Creek and will direct you to the worship service you wish to attend.

Our Contemporary worship service is held in the Chapel area of the Fellowship Hall. Dress for this service is casual. Music is provided and worship is led by the worship team (guitars, keyboard, drums and vocalists). The service includes contemporary praise songs, prayers, scripture, and a message by one of our pastors.

The Sunday School program includes classes for all ages and features a variety of options including Bible study, book studies, contemporary issues and special seasonal studies. There are classes for children of all ages, youth and young adults.

The Traditional worship service is held in the sanctuary. Dress for this service ranges from casual to more traditional coats and ties for men and dresses for women. This service is led by one of the pastors or a lay worship leader and includes traditional hymns accompanied by piano and organ, an anthem by one of our choirs, prayers, scripture, and a message by one of our pastors.

We look forward to meeting you! If you need more information, don’t hesitate to call the church office during regular office hours.
