Children spend time on Wednesday nights growing in their faith through activities and lessons. Our Children’s Choir practices for 30 minutes, followed by an hour of group time. In a small group setting, children rotate among learning a Bible lesson, making a craft, and spending time with friends. Kid’s Club meets every other Wednesday from October through April.
Kid’s Zone meets every Sunday during the Traditional and Contemporary church services. Children attend the first half of the church service, then proceed to the Children’s department for a time of fellowship with their friends. Kid’s Zone is for children ages 4 years old through 3rd grade.
In the Children’s department, Sunday school is offered for children from birth through 5th grade. Our classes are divided by age groups: birth – 17 months, 18 months – 3 years, 4 years – 2nd grade, 3rd grade – 5th grade. Sunday school is one hour, with the first 15 minutes being choir time. Afterwards, the children learn Bible stories, Bible verses, and ways to implement what was learned into their daily lives.
Children’s Choir is for children ages 4 years old through 5th grade. Choir meets biweekly on Wednesday nights during Kid’s Club and every Sunday morning. The children also sing for the congregation several times throughout the year.
